7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has repeatedly left gates open with no adult staff around leaving the possibility for children to wander off or strangers to wander in. Teachers say bad words to the kids. The front desk is terrible at answering the phone and calling back when you leave a message. There is constant fights that the staff don't stop. There are kids constantly hitting other kids and they are allowed to stay in class. I would not go here if the district actually gave a choice. It's a terrible school with terrible staff. Do not go here.Parent Review5mo ago - Lee Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principal Christi Granado called me at 230pm on a Friday so that I can come by and register my kid for middle school. She said it was the only day to register and if I don't do it today, my kid won't go to middle school. I have already register my kid for middle school through the parent VUE website, but she said that was not the process even though I receive paper notification by the school provided in registering the kids for middle school. I had no problem with that so I went. When I met her she did not look too happy. I did not once see a smile and she acted very snotty. I smile and greated her, but did not get the same welcome. I even thanked her throughout the process and not once did she even utter a welcome. She seemed irritated at me and I felt very incomfortable. She did not once looked at me when we were talking. Even when she wasn't using the computer, she stared at the screen while she answer my questions. Her answers to my question were quick and brief-like one or two words. Even if she did have a rough day at work, there is no reason for her to treat people this way. She works in Education and needs to work on her social skills. I think that if she treats people like this then she has no business being in the field. She has a role to play and its not just a job.Parent Review8y ago - Wilson High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGraduating class of '23, this school has only gone down since i got here in 2019. Wilson does not have enough discipline when it comes to kids wandering campus during class or when it comes to vaping and drug use especially in bathrooms. Instead of punishing the children involved their solution is to lock up multiple bathrooms at the same time restricting access to the students. These "solutions" are all similar in nature when it comes to various problems. The school strongly favors minority groups and the amount of assignments and clubs and months and weeks surrounding "inclusivity" are outrageous. I do not feel represented in this school. This school is highly politically biased and I'll leave it at that. Many kids at this school have horrible attitudes and i feel that the low work ethics of said students brush off on others. I am not saying that all kids are like this, but a very high amount of them are. If I could pick my high school again I would not pick Wilson.Student Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 2838 E 16th St.

"I enjoy this neighborhood. It’s not my first choice but its diverse, very centrally located with easy access to all parts of lb and freeways. I wish people could figure out the traffic circle it’s not that hard .. and we need more greenspace ( and a dog park at plaza zaferia). Other than that no complaints "
