5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've had two children go through this school 12 years apart. Much has changed in that time. Since COVID things seem to have changed drastically at this school. Most of the teachers my child has are amazing but they are fighting battles they shouldn't have to. The level of disrespect from students and lack of parental engagement is shocking and disappointing. The political leanings of parents have easily spilled over into anger and resentment dating all the way back to the requirement to wear masks and their children are now spewing the hatred and disrespect the parents displayed two years ago. Instead of my daughter's teachers being able to teach their given subjects, they are handling continuous behavior problems from the same small group of kids. Likewise, the school has their hands tied as the law no longer allows them to expell kids from school. Honestly, it feels like the school needs to have an on-campus suspension location for the kids who clearly aren't being disciplned at home and clearly are not able to respect the school setting. That way they can hopefully learn at school without completely upending the education of their peers. It makes me sad this is the world my daugther lives in. This isn't unique to Lincoln but the anti-intellectualism movement has a foothold in this town, starting with at least a couple members of the school board. I'm hopeful with the changing migration of families, from other areas of California that embrace a quality education, we will see changes. The scores for this school, in my opinion, are NOT a reflection of the teachers (WPUSD Is one of the highest paying districts in the area) and a child can still get a good education, BUT parents MUST become more engaged in parenting their children, setting limits, limiting social media and set expectations regarding behavior.Parent Review4mo ago - Check out schools near 1515 Hazel Ct.

"There are lots of paved trails that run all through Lincoln! On the trails are clean up stations and trash cans, so you’re not carrying a poop bag all the way home on a walk. Most everyone walks on leash with a few (well behaved) exceptions. A large majority of people do pick up after their dogs."

"Baseball, birthdays, dog parks, parades, and many more! Love the Christmas and 4th July parades. The Sun City community also plays a huge part in our beautiful landscaping and thriving community feel. We have lots of support here with people of all ages supporting new businesses and fundraising activities and restaurants are all packed! I love the fact that we have multiple dog groomers and parks for the fur family members. As well we have a beautiful brand new library. A new high school is opening in 2020. We have goats that keep our open land shaved down. Gives a nice country feel to the area."

"The commute in isn’t too bad. Obviously the more people move here the more traffic tends to accumulate. With that did it’s only about 15-20 minutes to the mall with traffic, and I can’t see that as a bad thing. Once 65 is finally widened the traffic issue should abate for a little."

"The parades held on the 4th of July and during the Christmas season are fantastic. I was born and raised in Lincoln and have attended those parades every year. The fireworks at McBean park on the 4th are the beat I’ve ever seen anywhere. "
