7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy younger siblings and cousins went here so I was excited when my son started going here. We had a few teachers that were amazing and a few not so much. My son struggled got told in parent teacher conference may have to retain but will keep you posted. Well after that no communication he got pushed through to next grade and still behind. I assumed he was doing fine due not hearing anything from the teacher. So moving on he was behind even more which I do not think is right. My son had a teacher who flat out told me at one point she has too many students to focus on students falling behind, but first hand saw her helping the top of the class students. This was also the same teacher that told me maybe Im focusing too much on my new born then my son in school, which is funny because i talked to this teacher a lot and we agreed to a weekly progress report for my son so i knew what was going on, lasted two weeks. The staff tries hard with the kids and are kind but that's about it that I can say is positive. I will say their are some great teachers and staff, but not enough to make up for the rotten ones.Parents at this school are too clicky some of them I swear think they are the Real Housewives of Lake Elsinore, and its funny because all those parents get the extra help for their kids.I pulled my son during the pandemic and hes striving at his new school even having to do the online school I saw huge improvement. (Its crazy when teachers actually like their job and care, kids strive)If you got money and are popular take your kid to RCE but if your not dont take your kid here. They will fall behind get over looked and no one cares.Oh did i mention bullying goes on and they dint care to contact the parents when it happens, unless its serious. Sorry kids making fun of my kid and calling him fat and leaving him out is bullying.I wanted so bad to like this school, but i just cant.Parent Review2y ago - Lakeside High School
