Quiet, no issues with neighbors, police department and library close by, easy access to freeway and lake murray, cowels mountain for exercise. Every year they have a December winter Christmas celebration, rides, restaurants open, vendors, a must see free event near Spring street. Can't beat the price, move close to main San Diego prices jump at least by another 100,000. For now La Mesa is home."
