9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMath department teachers are only there for the brightest and gifted students, Algebra 2 Honors teacher tells that in my face " Only students with innovative thinking can be successful in my class, regular student get F in his class". Changing classes is impossible due to lack of communication. Average students fall behind and teachers are there to collect paycheck. Very high cost of living gets wasted and teachers have the ultimate power to do what ever they desire the easiest way possible. They don't release the grades till the report card is due and students never have a chance to review their tests and never learn from their mistakes. Don't fall for the 5 star rating, average child dosent belong here, gets crushed by these selfish teachers that collect our hard earned tax money. Absolutely the worst I have ever seen.Other Review5mo ago - Hicks Canyon Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe best school for bullies. My kid was at Kindergarten this year. We had to pull him out of the school after two months due to bullying. My 5 year-old kid was constantly bullied at recess for two months and the administrators didn’t stop the bullies. The vice principal talked to the bullies but they denied what they did to my son, and they didn’t even apologize. And bullying incidents kept happening. My kid had a concussion, came home with bruises, was pushed to the ground, was punched, was kicked, was spit on, and was teased. His hair was pulled. The principal and the vice principal both simply said boys at that young age don’t know how to put their hands to themselves. They told me they would watch the kids better, however my son was bullied again and again for two months. Even on an anti-bullying day! I realized how naive and stupid I was at that point. I should’ve never trusted the administrators. The school said they contacted the bullies’s parents whenever the bullying incidents happened. However, when I ran into three parents of them, they had no idea their kids were bullying. At least, they felt bad and their kids admitted they hurt my son and they apologized.Unfortunately, there are parents who know their kids hurt my son but the parents deny. If you are the parent, and when we run into each other, please have your kid apologize to my kid. We need it for mine and yours.Note : My kid was told he is a role model of his peers by his teacher and she said she’s amazed by his mature behavior. How calm he was and how good listener he was. This is very sad because he misses his good friends and his teacher.Parent Review11mo ago - Orchard Hills School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went here for 4 years until I moved on and it was an ok school. If you want to be treated terribly compared to everyone else (if you aren’t in the 54% Asian) then it’s ok. But it not, I wouldn’t really recommend. The teaching is understandable but the teachers are really biased and don’t care to hide it. They can also be really rude and blatant. There is a very big difference in how people are treated and the mental heath/bullying psychologists/counselors don’t help. They aren’t with you they’re against you and will not try to be on your side if you’re getting bullied. They always try to find the quickest way to get you out of their office and to make you not say anything. I used to get bullied and they would not help a lot. I had to figure it out mostly myself. Overall a 3/10 school. Ok teaching, bad counselors and terrible treatment to others.Other Review7mo ago - Check out schools near 29 Dinuba.
