My children attended IHS, one went to UC Irvine, the other to CSU Fullerton. I feel the scores do not reflect the quality of education there. IHS is 95% Hispanic working class, many of the parents do not put the emphasis on higher education. During the thanksgiving holiday, she even cried in the morning because the school was closed. The teachers and the principal are nice, caring and helpful! Kids are in good manners. The reception lady is very polite and warm-hearted. The school has strong focus on academic achievement and the students’ characters and growth mindset, all of which are huge important to their long-term development. "I've lived in this neighborhood 7 years. I have friendly neighbors who look out for each other. This is a very safe neighborhood where you can jog and walk your dogs at night without worry.
