3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethis was a good school, community is very nice. Some of the staff were very nice people. They were such kind staff and i remember that sometimes even the kids would gather around the staff! (kids used say that they were cool.) I attended this school through TK-5th grade, so I had LOTS of memories. Besides *some* students, everyone was nice. Even the principal and the vice principal were so kind people. They would help students and get involved whenever something happened. So, besides from that, the school lunch needs to be healthier, not very good quality food. And some teachers were strict, and some were nice. I used to have several favorite teachers! They were nice. Now for the students, the students were not so nice. Some were, but not most of them. I'm not sure about this but from what ive noticed and what i experienced, they weren't nice to some kids. Like leaving them out. (Mostly 4th-5th) So please staff or school members, keep an eye on the students for bullying.Other Review2y ago - Henry T. Gage Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would rate this school a 4/5 because it is not a bad school and the bad fame that it has, it is the certain students that come to do school that represent the school as if it is bad which it is actually not.Student Review3y ago - Huntington Park Senior High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would rate this school a 4 because last year they integrated a STEM Magnet program which has a very good rating. This program engages students in success and achieving new things. I am very glad to have this program in this school in Huntington Park.Student Review3y ago - Linda Esperanza Marquez High A Huntington Park Institute Of Applied Medicine

"Poor Huntington Park has gone down and will keep going into ruin. For the past 15 years more and more people have been moving in not only over crowding the town but having no sense or respect for neighbors and keeping their yards or homes clean. Good luck finding a parking spot. Things get stolen off your porch. Neighbors acts like everyone is their enemy. Police don’t do anything if you call. The might arrest the caller. Great city for criminals. "

"There’s not really anything special about this neighborhood. It’s just your average neighborhood. The only nice thing is that there’s little shopping centers around, and there’s a mixture of all races and there’s friendly people most of the time."

"There’s never parking. Trust me NEVER! so don’t own a car. I live in an apartment and it’s really frustrating. Home owners around don’t understand, they park their cars outside their house instead of their driveway, knowing that us as apartment residents struggle with parking. To make it worse, the double park, because they believe that they own the street. Don’t live here it’s horrible. "
