9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter graduated from this school. She loved every moment she spent at HBHS. We are from the low income family. We don’t live in downtown, but we never felt excluded or disconnected. APA, sports, academics- all positive experience! I wasn’t impressed with few teachers, they were still good teachers, just not a good fit for our kid.Parent Review9mo ago - William T. Newland Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI moved to Huntington Beach so my Son could attend Newland elementary and I am so glad that I did. The teachers are in a class of there own and the school is one of the best out there. If you care about your child education and want them in a great atmosphere, William T. Newland elementary is the school for you.Parent Review6y ago - Talbert (Samuel E.) Middle School

"We have lived in HB for 29 years. It used to be a sleepy little beach resort. Now that we are "on the map", traffic is terrible. If you live anywhere near Beach Blvd, Adams, Goldenwest or any of the other major streets (which there are many) you will hear traffic, especially motorcycles. Of course, this is just the price we pay for living in a city with great weather, access to upper scale shopping, freeway close to Disneyland, mountains and the desert. If you are considering HB and have never been here, I would consider visiting on a weekend so you can see and hear the impact the traffic will make on your daily life."

"I work based at home so I couldn’t tell ya. But it’s close enough to downtown when I have meetings down there to ride my bike down. And good access to freeways, the most I commute is to North County SD or Beverly Hills."
