"Easy and close access to 101, I work in San Jose and my commute is about 55 mins without accidents. there are a lot of alternate roads which makes it nicer of a commute. "

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 6 peaceful years and love it! I’m close to shopping and retail and yet it’s calm and quiet. My neighbors are friendly and we bake for each other. I love my neighborhood and community. "

"We love the small town feel and the tradition of the fair, tractor pulls, the motorcycle rally. There are good restaurants and bars. The San Benito Oriana Chorale is awesome. Dog friendly. "

"The commute is pretty bad. The roads into Hollister aren’t built for the increasing amount of commuters. More and more homes are being built so the situation will continue to worsen until the roads are upgraded."

"Awful! Road congestion from 5-9 am and 3-7 pm. Rude drivers cutting other drivers off or forcing a way in. The roads are mostly 2 Lane in and out of Hollister."

"Unfortunately, the worst thing about living in Hollister is the inadequate roadway access into and out of town. Average weekday commute times can range from 1 to 2 hours to the San Jose-Palo Alto areas; 1.5 to 3 hours returning to Hollister. "
