8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my kids have gone to this school and have thrived. We've been a part of the Franklin community for 9 years. Principal Kully does an incredible job, and the BFEF is the difference when compared to all other schools. The BFEF provides the international interns, which actually HALF the teacher to student ratios. Everyone gets individual attention, which is amazing!The parents at this school realize they are doing something different from day one. The language immersion element requires extra effort from the parents to support the school and its programs, and so the parents really step to the plate! Comments here complaining that the school is underfunded or that they ask too much really don't understand what is going on here. Passionate parents who are willing to do extra to support their kids and the entire student body are what make this school really stand out.Some people are nervous when joining a language immersion school like this. They think their kids learning will suffer and they will fall behind. We have not found that to be the case at all. Our kids are in the ninetieth percentile in all their test scores and got much stronger from 4th to 6th grade and beyond. I can say without a doubt that the education is very high quality. We have a lot of friends who pay $30k per year for Crossroads, and the Franklin kids I know score higher, are more self-confident, and have a whole other language to boot! 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff and students discriminate against minorities and LGBTQ students. There is no anonymous reporting system for bullying. If the students want to report bullying anonymously due to retaliation from staff they cannot do so. And a lot of the prejudice come from staff who protect the students who do the bullying. How can you report bullying to the same people who enable it? It just doesn’t work that way. That is why this school has a serious bullying issue and a lot of fights. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy Son, now in 7th grade loves Toll! It was a struggle to get the hang of Jr. High in 6th grade after two academic years distanced learning (4th and 5th.) We worked with his counselor, I taught him to communicate with his teachers and advocate for himself and is now taking advanced classes, highly motivated and loves his most his teachers. I went to my first in-school open house recently and thought the teachers were all great! you could tell they are excited to teach which is so important. The school was clean, the Principal is super friendly, front office staff is always lovely. Overall it felt really welcoming and like everyone was energetically hyped for the year, including the parents I met. My advice for parents is to stay on top of your kids through portal and goggle classrooms, If I didn't stay on top of my son's grades and advocate for him during that adjustment period, which was more social than academic we might have a completely different 7th grade experience currently. This is where the academic, mental health, social aspects of this very important transformative period can feel very intense for kids, but given what I've seen so far from the staff I have no concerns that that helping the kids and parents balance this all out to achieve their highest academic success is the priority.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 1752 Riverside Dr.

"They would love to see all the other dogs in the neighborhood that are extremely friendly. The owners & dogs are friendly and may even invite you for dog play dates or to go on walks with them. They might not like the walls at night because there is a possibility of encountering skunks, raccoons, possums, sometimes MAYBE even a coyote but that is extremely RARE. Unless you’re out at 3 or 4 in the morning. Other than that everyone with a dog is friendly but there are times where that ONE person doesn’t pick up after their dog. "

"I've lived in this neighborhood and same home for 18 years. it's still safe, conviently close to freeways, super markets, fast food restaurants, gas stations, and parks. It's clean and is never an area seen on the news for having something bad happen. Also very popular film set. "Super Bad" "
