9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter went to Garden Grove High School, and she had a great experience. Even though Math was not her favorite subject and struggled with it throughout high school, she was always encouraged to do better by her teachers and was reminded that help was always there. The counselors were awesome and so was the principal and faculty. My daughter graduated in 2017 and her class was one of the schools largest graduating classes they have had. Some of the classmates got accepted to Yale, Standford, other great Universities. One thing I really appreciated was the calls from the office whenever my daughter was absent, I know she was not at school but glad to know they also were keeping tabs on their students.Parent Review1mo ago - James Monroe Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school environment, parental participation, and the staff are exceptional. I have had nothing but high hopes for this school, and so far has exceeded my expectation. Cannot wait to see the statistics for the first graduating 6th grade class.Parent Review6y ago - Parkview Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy brother was bullied at this school by several students and left a traumatizing memory. The teachers ignored the signs that my brother was being bullied but instead focused on how he was not doing his homework and how wrong it was for him to be 'randomly' crying in class. My mother had contacted the principal and his teacher if he was being bullied, and they said that they never saw anything like that. It came the day when mother did found out the truth when the bullies were saying vulgar words to my brother and videotaped him crying and one of them posted it on Facebook. The principal contacted my mother and when she arrived he said that he deleted the video. ---The principal knew that this was severe and got rid of the evidence in order to avoid problems with the district. My mother back then didn't have the knowledge that things like this can be reported to the district about how the staff, principal, and the teachers involved ignored how my brother was harassed. This led to years of therapy for my brother with a psychologist.Other Review6y ago - Louis Lake Intermediate School
