Summit intermediate administration failed to notify parents that they canceled their intramural sport after school program due to wind. Which is understandable. What’s not understandable is how they cannot send out an email or notice to parents. When they can send out an email for fundraisers and testing and everything else to parents throughout various hours of the day and night. I showed up to the school and not seeing my kids in the spot I pick them up in after intramural sports is heartbreaking and frightening. This school and its administrators need to have better communication with parents in making sure we know when sports/activities are canceled bc not everyone child has a cell phone and shouldn’t put that responsibility on children. My child was being abused and bullied by other students and he cried and was begging not to take him to school because of the bully and he’s only in first grade. His teacher didn’t care to do anything. And when I report to the school they didn’t care as well and didn’t offer a solution. I decided to move my house to a different area so I can take my kid out of this school. Later on the year few days before I change his school he had an award ceremony. I attend the award ceremony for my child and every time his teacher walks by my child would be terrified. Until now to this day my child is still traumatized and I have no idea what happened in school, and what has happened to my child that he got so scared of school, when he used to love going to school. No one cares and no one will offer to even help. If you want your child in a safe school and coming home safely without any injuries and without any trauma then go to a different school. "North Fontana has many parks, and nice areas to live in. Shopping center off of Summit is crowded at peak hours and worse during the holidays."

"I have lived in Hunter’s Ridge (North Fontana), for over 15 years. It is a great place to raise your kids. The schools from the Etiwanda district are the best. "
