5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFrom what we've heard, Fallbrook Street School had some major challenges, but with new administration, a new name, and an innovative approach to teaching/learning, we've been really impressed in the last year and a half since we moved here. We move often with the military and my kids have attended lots of different schools, including an international school that cost tens of thousands per year in tuition. The support from the staff, the care they offer the students, and the unique addition to the education that comes from the Covey/Lighthouse School program puts FSA at the top of our list of schools we've attended.Parent Review3y ago - James E. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had mixed feelings about this middle school for my daughter (just based on things I had heard in the community), but I have been very happy with her progress. She is doing well and is thriving. The PE program keeps them moving, which I love. The teachers and administration are super supportive. She actually volunteers to speak at leadership rallies, whereas in elementary school she was more introverted and shy about speaking in public. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur family moved to Fallbrook last year and we were nervous because all of the public schools in Fallbrook were rated so poorly. Turns out, the ratings were wrong! I don't know how these ratings are configured but I was compelled to get on here and leave a review of my own because my children's experience at the Fallbrook public schools has been fabulous. My daughter started Fallbrook High as a freshman last year and didn't know a soul. The students were so inclusive and welcoming. She is a very strong student and has been challenged academically in the Honors and Dual Language Immersion programs. The teachers are top notch and the administration is engaged and communicative. There are more sports and clubs offered here than at any other school I have heard of and I feel like I am in an episode of Friday Night Lights when I go to the football games.
