9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStudents will have no problem fitting in and making new friends. I love the variety of clubs and extracurricular activities/opportunities. The spirit days and events make school so much more fun :)it's not too stressful and teachers actually care. After going to high school at Franklin and in the Bay Area, I can say that Franklin is way better.Other Review9mo ago - Toby Johnson Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethis school use to be the best in Elk Grove,. We absolutely loved the school 3 years back when my daughter attended the school but the now new principal is ok, disconnected from parents, from kids and even with teachers. He s not bothered about anything , He doesn't value the achievements of the students or teachers. My son is in 8th grade and he is high performing kid so does may of his friends but i am yet to see any word of encouragement or any awards !!!! if kids are not recognized for their handwork they font feel like achieving more also you loose opportunity to motivate other studentswhen my daughter went to Toby, Mr. McDouggle was principal and he was on top of everything,he was always there to greet students, talk to them, and encourage them all the time . Also Tobby use to recognize the achievements of their students for sports and academic achievementsI am seriously considering to send my third child to Eddy I think Toby needs change in Leadership otherwise Toby has a great program..Parent Review4y ago - Helen Carr Castello Elementary School
