8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, the school was horrible. Learning about this school, they don't care about their students. Only a few teachers ever cared, but they didn't bring the right punishment. For example, this one kid lost his hearing from another child, but the school only gave him lunch detention. Also, the food at the school was horrible, moldy bread on sandwiches. The recent rules added to the school were harsh as well. These rules included a "No drop-off zone" causing children to become later than ever, and enforced the phone policy. The new phone policy was a bad idea because what if an child is in danger, and he doesn't have his phone? I've seen people try to report bullying to the office, or otherwise and it never worked. They did absolutely NOTHING. I've even found many children in your school with severe depression or anxiety because of these problems. I do not recommend this school at all.Other Review4y ago - William Brooks Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBrooks is a fabulous school. There was a comment by another poster about job shares- and that is true in one classroom- in one grade. Brooks is a sweet positive school that I am proud to work as a substitute teacher for and have my children attend. The teachers we’ve had are caring and truly love their jobs. The PTA is wonderful too! The front office staff is welcoming and kind.Parent Review2y ago - Charter Montessori Valley View Campus

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur children have attended Valley View since it opened. This school has been amazing in all ways. Our oldest child attended Valley View 5th-8th grade and is now enrolled in Ponderosa High School. (Also amazing). He is thriving and the transition for him was easy. The staff at Valley View, the teachers and everyone involved are the best. They care about our kids. They are all student focused and I feel go above and beyond constantly. The principal, Mr. stewart is fantastic. Can’t say enough, our kids are thriving.Other Review10mo ago - Ponderosa High School

"Music and Arts education and Expressive Arts Therapy are the critical component for the proper development of advanced cognitive functions of our evolutionary young and still evolving human brain. The artistic process that involves metaphorical cognition is the gateway to the adequate self-perception, through th prism of sensory reactivation, crucial to serve as the counterpoint to the societal convention of emotional self-repression that debilitates our sensory abilities to inform our self-preservation instinct, involved into prioritizing for the right reasons and choosing the right goals and purposes."
