What Locals Say about Coronado

  • Trulia User
"Coronado is a very dog friendly town. However, the parks are surprisingly closed to off leash dogs (ie throwing a ball). You have to take them to specific dog areas, such as dog beach, or one park in Coronado Cays. "

"The absolute best place I have ever lived. Great for kids and adults. Restaurants near by and ultra safe. This is a go to place to vacation and to live. Love the arts and crafts, beaches and that San Diego is just a 10 minute drive but a million years away. You need to come to Coronado to live the life you always wanted. "

"This one of a kind neighborhood is great for all ages. Most of the neighbors have lived in the area for several years which consist of retirees and/or professionals some with a small children. An average day, you can see most people walking their dogs to the beautiful dog park nearby located in the Cays. Walking or riding bikes to the beach. The Cays is a private community with 24 hour security. My favorite part living at this house was listening to the ocean waves breaking from the backyard while lying in bed. Simply....living in paradise. Complete with banana trees in located in the front yard. A must see! while it lasts."
