9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been a part of this district for 6 years and we appreciate the dedication and passion of everyone that works in and for our Schools. We are a strong knitt community and still have that "small town feel" that is sometimes lost in other schools.Academically, I have a daughter that had struggled in math in middle school, and she regain her confidence and is doing great thanks to the "support math" class available as an elective.I would strongly recommend this school.Parent Review7mo ago - Coronado Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school. The school is why we moved to Coronado and we haven't been disappointed! Teachers go out of their way to help students and the content of academics is challenging. Good sports and other club activities. Worth the cost of living in Coronado just to get into this school.Parent Review7mo ago - Silver Strand Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could keep my kids in Silver Strand Elementary until they graduated..I would! The reason being the wonderful principal Mr Cass, he is the most friendly man, both with parents and students, always there in the mornings to greet everyone coming to school and to receive hugs from the kids. Staff are wonderful - I can't say anything negative about this school, even the views are amazing from the classrooms, what kid doesn't want to look at the Pacific Ocean while studying? Spent six years at this school, and wish I could take it with me when we move...LOVED IT!Parent Review9y ago - Check out schools near 17 Bahama Bnd.

"Coronado is a very dog friendly town. However, the parks are surprisingly closed to off leash dogs (ie throwing a ball). You have to take them to specific dog areas, such as dog beach, or one park in Coronado Cays. "

"The absolute best place I have ever lived. Great for kids and adults. Restaurants near by and ultra safe. This is a go to place to vacation and to live. Love the arts and crafts, beaches and that San Diego is just a 10 minute drive but a million years away. You need to come to Coronado to live the life you always wanted. "
