ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! This gorgeous home combines old-world charm with modern updates to create a masterfully playful paradise! Intricate original hardwood flooring patterns created by a true craftsman, tankless water heater, central HVAC, dazzling gambrel wood ceiling & whimsically remodeled kitchen, beautifully landscaped park-like backyard. This gorgeous sanctuary is just blocks from Todos Santos, restaurants, shopping, the Canal Trail, and B.A.R.T. Large single bath could be split in two to create a master bath (buyer to verify.) Wonderful large detached 2-car garage. Excellent reports! See more including 3-D tour at www.1724-5th.com

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is going into 7th grade and her first year at EDMS was great! She had EXCELLENT teachers and the Principal and staff were so welcoming and supportive. It's middle school - which is literally the worst - but, overall my daughter made great friends, learned new things, and excelled! There were a couple of issue with other students, but admin was quick to help and make things better. I appreciated the time they took to listen and respond. It has to be hard, and they handled everything very well. We're glad we're at EDMS!Parent Review8mo ago - Mt. Diablo High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school, just came there and Im an freshman. Rgeardless people are going to say this is a bad school. IT IS NOT. They are very welcoming and nice. They have JROCT, cooking, Public speaking or Debate team/class and more. MUptiple luages classes like French, Spanish and Mandorian chinnise. Tons of sports Football, basketball, tenniss and volleyball track too! The techers are pretty nice they tey to help out as much as they can just ask them. The food her is AWSOME. For kids who have food issues they let anyone and everyone get as much as they need/want they should know the limits. Bring your kid here its awsome!!!Student Review2y ago - Wren Avenue Elementary School

"I have lived here since 2017 and I absolutely love this neighborhood. It's quite, friendly, safe and very child friendly. There is never any crime and you hardly ever hear emergency sirens. Every single neighbor has been wonderful and polite except one. "

"Best place to live in DC. It’s a beautiful neighborhood that is urban but not downtown. It’s all about the park and trail, tons of restaurants, things to do, grocery stores, markets, bar. Has its own metro in easy walking distance and a trail that connect you to the east side of the city. "

"NoMa Bid has been creating a huge sense of community in Eckington and NoMa. For one they keep the area so clean and you always see their workers sweeping the sidewalks, changing trashing, maintenance at the dog park. And then there’s the events, most at the A.T. Park and the MBTrail. Movie in the park, farmers market, holiday events like pumpkin patch/contest, and of course the mural walls festival. The trail and park have beautiful murals everywhere and each year local artist renew most of them. (NoMa in Color). Also the dog parks is a big vibe in the area, Eckington Dog Park is the best in the city, but there are 4 in the area. Also, Bouldering Project is a cool bouldering and fitness gym. Theres tons of grocery, restaurants, bars and beer gardens, etc. it’s surround by Union Market, Brookland, Shaw, H Street… all connect my the MBT (bike/walk trail) and NoMa/Gallaudet Metro Station (subway). "20 minutes to town, one can go through downtown 25 mph or there are other roads through the countryside that have no lights and higher speed limits to get to the other end of town. 30 min to Carson City. One hour to Reno"
