The alumni and faculty of San Juan High pay annual dues and make donations to help support San Juan High. Since 1980, over $300,000 has been awarded in Scholarship to the students of San Juan High. No other public high school in the Sacramento has this type of support system. The SJAA puts on All-Class Picnic every two years. We have some very successful alumni from San Juan High, and we mentor the students that they can be successful in any field they choose with a little hard work. Our alumni, volunteer on campus, make personal donations to the various needs at San Juan High, and attend and support many on campus events. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWoodside is a great school that is focused on all phases of education: Academics, personal growth, community/school pride and variety of activities for students. Mr. Barge knew my granddaughters first name the second day of school after transferring into the school at the beginning of the school year and that really impressed her. For an eight year old to be impressed with anything in school says a lot. Everyday she says school was fun that day, not so in her former school. I am glad she is happy there and I like to volunteer in any way to help the teachers so they can keep education a joy.
