Prepare to be impressed. This girl is all decked out and ready to dance! She's had a massive remodel from top to bottom, and shows like a dream. 1920 square feet allows for surprisingly spacious living, family and dining areas. The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous with tasteful finishes. Generous laundry room with storage, folding counter, network box and exterior exit to the carport. Two guest rooms share a cute bath. The master suite is pretty sweet! It has a private bath with custom tilework, linen storage, huge walk-in closet with window, and it opens up to a fantastic covered deck. The neighborhood is open to all ages! It includes a great community pool, hot tub, playground and clubhouse with kitchen for your enjoyment.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat School! Both my kids graduated from PVHS and did the full IB program which many schools don't offer. They were involved with many different extra curricular activities and were on various sports teams all through their four years. For the most part, we were very impressed with their teachers. Yes, there were a couple who we didn't like all that much, but in general our children received a great education that prepared them for college. Both kids were accepted into wonderful colleges. There were also a handful of wonderful families that are the backbone to supporting Sports Boosters, Music Boosters etc.. I greatly respect the principal there and the guidance department is top notch. To read some of the negative comments makes me wonder if my children went to the same school, but my mom always told me that people generally will complain 10x's more than they will give a compliment. There are things that the school needs like a new stadium, better soccer fields a new state of the art pool etc., but all in all our kids achieved great things while there and I attribute that to the friends they made, the teachers they had and the community they were surrounded by.Parent Review8y ago - Rosedale Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRosedale is amazing. I don't know why the whole of Chico doesn't send their children there. My son started in Kindergarden so I'm not sure about starting in later grades but starting in Kindergarden all the children work and learn together. I saw how they built a strong foundation in reading in Spanish and it translated to English almost instantly. All of a sudden my son was reading in English too- incredible. The teachers are caring and helpful. They have high expectations that are easily met by the students. I think sometimes we underestimate what our children can do. They have tutors if needed. My son went to school here K-2 and then we had to move. The main thing we miss about Chico is Rosedale- I wish I could find a school like this where we live now. We miss the teachers, friends, activities and learning too. I highly recommend this school!!!! Love you Rosedale!Parent Review5y ago - Shasta Elementary School

"It’s very peaceful a lot of the time! Sometimes there will be fireworks around holidays and weirdos speeding, but other than that, it’s nice"

"Area is very pet friendly. Lots of people walking their dogs but not too much foot traffic. Night walks not suggested because of low visibility and some high vehicle traffic by main roads"
