I wish we had sidewalks and bike lanes. Tons of deer, that's the best part!! The deer are very comfortable in this neighborhood, they are a joy to watch. We are in a forest in essence, oak trees, hills and deer for days! "

    "There is a lake across the street and a large recreational park and zoo at the end of the street. There is an event center that sits facing the water that can be rented for weddings, parties, etc. This area is visited daily by folks walking their dogs around the lake and biking, etc. There are free music concerts in the park during the summer every weekend. A very desirable area."

    "We have lived in Atascadero for 12 years and love it. It is placed about the middle of the county so getting south or north is easy. This city is very family friendly with nice parks for kids and pets. It is quiet with a few nice restaurants, ColbyJacks, Guest House Grill, Coco's; new Galaxy Theatre. Cooler than Paso Robles, warmer than San Luis Obispo it is only 15 miles from the beach; cool winds prevail from the west in the hot summers. Lots of view property in the hills; rural feel in the city."
