3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children at Edison Elementary. They have had excellent, caring, motivated teachers who have worked well with their individual styles. However, the teachers are required to work within a strict system because of the school's Title I standing. Because of these federally mandated standards, the vast majority of the class time is spent on language arts and math. My 4th grader complains that they get cursory science lessons perhaps once every two weeks, and the same with history. There is no P.E. and no art or music during the week. We love having the kids walk to their local school and had hoped to make it work, but we feel that there are too many lost opportunities in other subjects so we will be moving to a different school next year.Parent Review9y ago - Anaheim High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAnaheim High School is amazing. It was a great experience for my son. He graduated in 2021 and had the opportunity to be part of many excellent programs like Puente, Upward Bound and GEAR UP, BROS. and many other extra curricular activities. Anaheim prepared him well and he definitely was college ready when he left. I guess you get out of high school what you put into it. He is a proud Colonist and Alumni!Parent Review2y ago - Sycamore Junior High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school isn't all as bad as most people say sure there are rude kids, but not all of them are like them. Most of the kids there greeted me with respect.Other Review10mo ago - Check out schools near 1253 N Baxter St.

"My neighbors hood is a great community to start a life . We have liquor , reliable auto shop , restaurants, schools, the freeways and the riverbed. Beautiful but sometimes if the streets are not taken care by our local police station, we have homeless that come and break into peoples cars, a lot of trucks passing by night and day. Small defects get good rental insurance. Love this area can’t complain much ."
