We love Vail Academy and High School! We have had both our children here since kindergarten and they are now in 7th and 5th grades. It is very easy to communicate with teachers, staff, and administration. Having currently around 450 students total for grades k-12, it is easy to get to know each other, spend one on one time with teachers, and enjoy smaller class sizes. Vail Academy has a strong community feel with teachers that continually go above and beyond to ensure their student’s success in and out of the classroom.

It is perfect for my kids who go there

My daughter had a great freshman year. She is in all AP or honors classes. They also have Engineering and Drama as electives, and she is interested in both. Her math skills really took off last year under her Algebra teacher. She is interested in her electives, or she'd have joined the Corvis Academy, which is a serious college prep cohort. It's great for her to be at a school where the focus is not on mindless athletics!

This school was very special to our family. The principal is amazing and professional. The teachers work hard. Discipline is enforced. The staff genuinely cares for students. As a substitute teacher, I can attest that all Vail elementary schools are good, but this one is definitely my favorite. It's very difficult to even get into the school as a substitute teacher due to popularity with substitutes. The children are respectful and generally hard working, focused, and well-behaved. Not a minute is wasted during the day.

VDLP is a high rigor online program for students wanting an alternative option for school. It is ideal for students wanting academic challenges and the opportunity to accelerate through classes. VDLP offers full-time options along with students who want to take additional classes to their normal schedule. It is challenging and rigorous yet web based to afford families freedom to travel or have alternative class schedules.

My daughter is currently a sophomore at Andrada and we have loved the last two years! All of the teachers my daughter has had are great and very supportive especially in the honors and AP classes. The pathways give students the opportunity to learn to think for themselves and give real life experience. I love that they are bringing opportunities for sports back to the students. This school gives students a great education, skills, and a high school experience without the pressure students face at large high schools.
