6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible school. Doesn’t care about the students or their family. It’s all about the numbers and data now. There is some great staff there but not much a few great people can do when there is bad leadership and so many that won’t standup for the kids and what is right.Parent Review1y ago - Shadow Ridge High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTHIS IS THE WORST SCHOOL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.The teachers here are JOKES. They don't know how to teach, and even if they do, they lack passion and wanting to CONNECT with students. They don't care about the emotional state of your children, and don't care how stressed they are, or how they confused they are. I don't know why half of the teachers here are teaching, some of them admit they hate it. Specifically, the math department here. Not only are half of the teachers cruel, lacking compassion and empathy, and egotistical, they don't know how to teach. The science department throws a textbook in your face, with a note packet that you have to fill out (you can find a majority of them online.) However, there are exceptions, such as Ms.Roberts, Ms.Wenz, and Mr.Moore. They are teachers who are respected by the majority of the school. The students here are robots, they don't talk, they don't have opinions, and if they do, all they know how to do is gossip. Your student will grow up with students who are some of the most dull, uninspiring, and rude jerks that I have ever seen. When I go to this school, I genuinely find it difficult to talk to my peers, cause none of them know how to have a conversation. There is almost no student spirit. Almost no diversity, and even if there is, the school feels segregated by the students. The counselors here are hit and miss, Ms.Brayden is a wonderful counselor from what I've heard. If you want your child to have a high school experience of mean teachers, boring coursework, and dull peers, send them to this school. If I could give this school negatives, I would.Student Review4mo ago - Check out schools near 17501 W Mandalay Ln.
