5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with this school was overall mixed but pretty unpleasant. Personally, fifth grade was the worst year for me because of the teachers and the fact that I had accelerated math didn’t help. Accelerated math meant that I had a mean and disrespectful teacher for a good 2 hours every day and I had to carry around a 20 lb Saxon Math book (which had loads of spelling errors and unnecessarily difficult questions) along with my other 20 pounds of items, which meant I had 40 pounds to carry every day. Moving along, lots of the kids at the school were either annoying or mean and while the cafeteria was being built, we had to eat in a barely ventilated tent in 100 degree weather that constantly smelled of expired cabbage. Not to mention the other three teachers. I could spend the rest of my review picking out specific nick nacks but instead, I’ll highlight problems that all of the teachers have. They would consistently target the whole class when a couple of kids did something bad, they would be passive-aggressive naturally, and just were unpleasant to be around. So, if you have to, you can send your kid here but I wouldn’t recommend it.Other Review2y ago - Scottsdale Online Learning

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei am a sophmore and i did SOL my freshman year and am still doing it now. i originally just did it because of covid but now it's kind of stayed. My parents like that I am doing this program because it's easy to get good grades. The stuff is super simple and you're allowed to use your notes for the assessments. It was easy last year when our finals got canceled because of covid but not this year! when we had finals, I wasn't prepared at all because of this and I didn't do good on those tests. also, you are always feeling over pressured. it's SO easy to get caught behind, everyone always turns in their stuff like a week late. they're lenient but you are not learning much. also, there's no school activities or events where the online students can do something fun. kind of sucks which is why I want to go to back to school next year. also...teachers are horrible. they never help, like EVER. they never reply to emails and then say "they never saw it" when I double send it. they never help you with assignments and give you bad grades and then don't even tell you what you got wrong or why they gave you that grade. i had to get separate tutoring since they do absolutely nothing and there's pretty much no way to communicate with them. overall, I don't recommend, like yes, you can get good grades, but you can also get good grades with regular school if you try hard enough and there you can actually have teachers u can physically talk to.Student Review2y ago - Check out schools near 3720 N 85th St.
