N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've had a child attending Grayhawk since 2013. We have two years left before my youngest child moves onto middle school and I feel so grateful for the academic, social and emotional foundation my kids have received at Grayhawk. We had a really good experience from the beginning but I would say that this school reached a new level of excellence in the last few years. Our new principal is a very strong leader and our teachers are skilled and caring. There is a strong sense of community at the school in part fostered by a very supportive PTO. Grayhawk has a well-funded STEM program that is headed by a fun and knowledgeable teacher. The kids LOVE it! Grayhawk also has great Specials programs. The Art teacher really helps the kids learn art skills and they feel very proud of what they are able to create. The music teacher is new and enthusiastic and leads an early morning choir program. The music program is well funded with drums and a newly purchased set of bells for a bell choir. The PE teacher has been at Grayhawk for a long time and is loved by the kids. She does interesting game and activities and get them outside often. The extra enrichment is great at Grayhawk. If your child wants to be involved, there are many opportunities including an after school theater program Grayhawk uses Core Knowledge Curriculum. We love it because it is very engaging and really develops whole learning. The teachers have been responsive to any academic concerns I've had about my children. Also, a couple of my kids received speech services at the school. The speech therapist at Grayhawk is awesome.Parent Review11mo ago - Pinnacle High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall the school is a bit above average. I currently have 2 students attending it. Both have had experiences with their respective science teachers quitting or getting fired mid school year and not having a good back up plan. My Freshman's science teacher was originally just a substitute but was made the permanent school teacher since Nov 2023. Feedback from my child who typically enjoys science is that the teacher doesn't do a satisfactory job.
