"It's a older neighborhood filled with a combination of very well upkept homes that have that historic grace and then you have homes that are questionable how the state hasn't condemned them. Either way... Despite the home they live in...Central city is filled with family. "

"My neighborhood has access to public transportation in the means of the city bus. Unfortunately the light rail doesn't go that far west. I drive, so I hop on the I10 and can get to the downtown area rather quickly depending on time of day. "

"Lots of parks (some w dog runs) to walk your dogs & keep their paws off hot sidewalks! :) Many strays, and unfortunately many idiots who let their dogs wander. Carry mace when you walk your dog after dark, too just to be safe. Sometimes an aggressive dog (or sketchy people) will come out of alleys/dark areas. "

"I have lived in this neighborhood on and off for about two years. I feel very safe in this neighborhood. People tend to keep to themselves, and it's a pretty quiet neighborhood. I love the remodeled old homes. "
