9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUsed to be great not anymore - Ever since the changeover in principles this school has gone downhill. Never in my life have I seen a school where the staff is lazy, angry, grumpy, and unable to effectively manage children without resorting to the least effective methods. The school staff chooses to punish entire grade levels for the actions of one or two children. They withhold Sports and physical activities as a form of punishment for everyone in that grade. They insist that it is the children's duty to enforce discipline over other students instead of being adults and taking care of the problem themselves. I've never seen a group of misguided faculty in my life. Further the faculty seems malcontent to be there, and strive to do the least amount of work possible. From the front desk staff to the administration the entire lot. I can't recommend the school at all. I originally bought a home in this neighborhood to have my children attend this school. I am thankful that that my youngest will soon be leaving.Parent Review1mo ago - Pinnacle High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall the school is a bit above average. I currently have 2 students attending it. Both have had experiences with their respective science teachers quitting or getting fired mid school year and not having a good back up plan. My Freshman's science teacher was originally just a substitute but was made the permanent school teacher since Nov 2023. Feedback from my child who typically enjoys science is that the teacher doesn't do a satisfactory job. The campus is large and seems well funded.Parent Review1mo ago - Mountain Trail Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI hated this school so much. I went here in 2021 for 7th and it was actually awful. I reported being bullied and my friends being bullied, being called slurs for being LGBTQ+, being heavily misgendered by teachers, etc. There was multiple times where the vice principal or principal witnessed my friend get hurt, but she got in trouble for yelling at him. These support systems sucked, and i didn't get the accommodations I needed. Awful school.Other Review3mo ago - Check out schools near 2405 E Rustling Oaks Ln.

"Lots of wild desert areas here. Coyotes are common to see. It's quiet. Which says quite a bit considering we are so close to the freeway."
- Dave R.

"My family has lived here since 1999 and we find everything a family or people at any age could want. Great public schools, clean, safe, friendly neighborhoods, easy highway access and numerous restaurants and entertainment locations within a few miles. Many of the major hospitals supporting Phoenix are located within a few miles; Mayo (2), Paradise Valley (5), and Scottsdale (10). Many miles of trails supporting hiking and biking. At one time this was a road bikers paradise ... not so much now with all the traffic developed north of our location."
- Barb C.
- 9y ago
"My third sale in Boulder Creek. What a delightful pocket community snugged up against the Mountains, yet immediate access to the 101 and 51 for fast transportation to Scottsdale, downtown Phoenix or, well, anywhere. Happy community of friendly neighbors who love living around an elementary and junior high school which are the center of the planned community. Costco a mile away, tons of shopping, especially Desert Ridge Regional Shopping Center is one exit away."
- Christy W.
- 9y ago
"I've lived in the neighborhood for several years and love the mountain reserve close by for walking and hiking, appreciate the community involvement with neighbors and love the easy access to the freeway as well as Desert Ridge and City North for shopping, dining and entertainment."
