    "Exclusive without being stuffy, incredibly safe, gorgeous winding roads and hills and architecture that blends into landscape of upscale mostly second homes. Great community feeling of clubhouse for dining, kids activities, gym, pool, etc. One of best "second home" communities in all of Arizona. Great for families coming up on weekends and holidays, and retirees looking to live. Only downside is that Payson doesn't have fine dining or other entertainment of larger more urban community. But that's not why people live here."

    "Absolutely beautiful. Mountains, elk, tress. Largest stand of Ponderosa Pines in North America and one of 3 clear air zones in the world. Great golf courses with unbelievable views. Upscale communities and helpful people in Payson. "

    "Payson is not good for very young couples because the limited employment opportunities. Self employed, retired, singles asn commuters can have a very comfortable life here though expansion during the 90s did raise the prperty values higher than most starting couples can afford without good employ. Excellent schoold despite rural location, good police canvassing, Sheriffs dept is top notch. Certain outlying areas do have to have concern for seasonal fires and should invest in insurance..flooding in creek areas ocasionally."
