2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child tripped, fell, and broke a bone in class. My child informed the on duty teacher of their symptoms, cause, and the on duty teacher placed a call to the nurse. My child was in extreme pain, had numbness, and could not move the effected area. My child was informed by the on duty teacher to head to the nurse. My child was not offered a wheelchair or even an adult to accompany them.It appears there is low standard of providing students with basic accommodations when there is a serious injury or appears to have symptoms of one. At minimum if a student informs a staff member who may or may not be trained in such areas should have at least been informed by the medical staff on what to do and what process to follow. I doubt the medical staff would just brush that off, right??In the event, if a future injury were to unfold (I hope not) that there would be guidelines established on how to proceed. What if my child was further injured on their way to the nurse, and could not get the medical attention needed because they were left to fend for themselves on school grounds? I will update my post once I hear back from the proper officials. **Disclosure** My child’s injury was confirmed with an FNP the same day, and a follow up with an Orthopaedist has been arranged. These are my own personal statements and observations, and are not intended to defame the reputation of MPS in any such manner.Parent Review2y ago - Webster Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers here have their hands full that's for sure. Lot of the students come from families that do not speak English very well. I think having Spanish speaking teachers as aids will really help the students. I like to see this school to push the parents to get more involve. You go to these award events and see no parents show up! Parents have no clue on what their child is being taught in school. The families need to be the one to notice that bulling is being done and need to speak up to the teachers and even threated to get police involve. My granddaughter in 3rd grade was getting beat up by another student because that student did not want my granddaughter to be friends with the other student who were with this girl that was being bullied. Parents need to get more involve with school activities. Halloween get together at night where were the parents? Pizza night where are the parents? These teachers have a lot on their plate. We need to find ways to get Mom and Dad to get in volve. Allow parents to come in and watch a class 1 day a week or something. Need to change what the kids are learning. Basic math 2+2 . The children are being push through because of No kids Left behind. I do not believe in homework; kids spend hours in school learning and should not have to spend hours home doing homework where there is no one to answer questions to help with homework. Let support the teachers Mom and Dad. show up on get to gather nights, show up for pizza night. Ask your child's teacher on what can you do to help with the class or something, it may just be buying some supplies for the class such as paper. Your child learns in school starting with you as the parent. God Bless.Parent Review9mo ago - Westwood High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is pathetic, it is run by Mormons for Mormons by Mormons. Its a true disgusting depiction of a Mesa Public School. They tell you what you want to hear for the IB program. My daughter could have gone to a better school with AP classes but chose Westwood which has been an unpleasant experience. The Counselors have no idea what they are doing and never have answers. The Athletic Director is related to many of the coaches. The coaches show complete favoritism to student athletes that go to their ward.Parent Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 29 N May.

"I love the desert landscape. It feels quiet and remote but you’re 5 minutes from grocery stores. I love to sit outside and drink my coffee in the morning looking at the hills covered with cactus. Today we had a roadrunner in the back yard, and often have rabbits and quail. Where can you see that?"
