I am a teacher myself, so I had very specific expectations for what I knew my son should receive. Our kindergartener had to start school online during the pandemic year. Due to family health issues he stayed online all year. The teacher they chose for this position was AMAZING. All of his basic skills were met. He continued to learn and excel all year. Curriculum was thoughtful and rigorous. Even online, our teacher worked at SE and leadership skills. The principal was always in contact with updates and the district, as a whole, was very supportive of parents during a really difficult and odd time. They made smart decisions when other districts did not. Safety, high expectations, solid education and inclusion are seen in this district.
