I feel that the staff could be a little more courteous toward parents and students that are there to get educational answers. My daughter had a first rough year but we are giving them one last try this school year

I love this school. My son is in the 2nd grade and he has ADHD; and his kinder and 1st-grade teacher was unique to him. They have so much to offer him, and he learned at an incredible pace. My daughter attended from 1st to 5th grade and had no issues. She did have some friends who were a little mean, and when I brought it to the attention of the school staff and her teacher, it was handled very well. I love that they keep me in the loop for everything, even if it is just a simple visit to the nurse. As a parent, staying in the circle of your kid's learning is essential, and they provided me with all of that, whether it was hands-on or even over the phone or through email. Overall, I think my children did and are doing great. Everyone has a different opinion. However, I feel it all depends on the child and how comfortable they are with the school and its teachers.

I could never imagine a worst school. The only teachers who seem to care are the elective teachers. My son has been marked absent multiple times, because his teacher thought he and another student were the same kid. That was the teacher's explanation not mine. He has encountered violence he hadn't even seen in Phoenix Union. Teachers just hand out work give a brief explanation and tell the students to do it. When he asks for help he is belittled and dismissed, as if he isn't worth their time. I am not sure if they are just checked out after dealing with the pandemic or what is going on. It is completely unacceptable. If children are asking for help, they should get it regardless if you are in a bad mood or not.
