4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLa Joya is a great school but in my personal experience with my child attending, he has gotten into multiple fights with the special educated kids. I don't know if it is his issue or the schools on why they are all getting in fights with my son. The academics here are just straight up awful the teachers look like they came off the street. 100 percent do not recommend this school in the Tolleson District any other school in the district would be a much greater option.Parent Review3mo ago - Littleton Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kindergartner learned so much at this school. He’s an African American and I was afraid there wouldn’t be diversity here but he feels welcomed. The classrooms are overcrowded for sure (25 students in his class) but they have an assistant teacher as well. I wish there were smaller classes but that seems to be a problem everywhere in AZ’s public schools.Parent Review1y ago - Collier Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe new administration at the school has been a much needed change and improvement. I’ve really had a nice experience working with them and getting to know them. Thank you for your hardwork!Parent Review8mo ago - Quentin Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers at this school do not seem to have respect or trust in their students. My children have experienced being shamed for asking questions or having any sort of problem. Not only does this pretain to coursework but with bullying as well. My kids get threatened by other students and I've been in contact with the school about such acts and all I keep being told is, "fill out the bullying form." Still nothing seems to change. My student is afraid to attend this school. Unsure what needs to happen for the issues in this school to be addressed.Parent Review11mo ago - Country Place Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCountry Place is an average school.Their learning techniques are good.Although once covid came along , everyone in the staff started relying on online computers.Mostly relying on Clever,Achieve 3000,and study sync. These teachers have to learn that not everything can be most effective on computer. They are getting lazy. Also they stopped doing all the fun activities, field trips, field day,and many others. The new vice principal,is very dramatic. She made every rule strict. If this school doesn’t stop acting up,most kids are going to leave. They will lose their school community. The 2022 vice principal gives the children referrals automatically.Mostly for unnecessary stuff. She is always over-exaggerating. Dr.Cagle is a great principle. He knows the fair rules and consequences for the children. This school needs to get situated, organized and learn the real meaning of owning a school.Parent Review1y ago - Estrella Vista Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has attended this school for 5 years with no issues since principle Manahan became principle he has target my daughter he definitely does not like black kids and has no care for your child to succeed. My daughter has no record not a problem child at all but he asked the district to put her out of school due to him being afraid of her. Discrimination at its finest stay away from this school if you are of color he (Principle ROBERT MANAHAN)will lie and do everything to take your child down. It’s sad he is a principal. A principal should have the best interest for your child he definitely failed mines thank god she don’t have to deal with his harassment anymore..Student Review3mo ago - Check out schools near 12509 W Winslow Ave.

"Nice and quite, i enjoy the area but too bad the neighbors dont talk much, not much community relations. The HOA hit u with fines instead of talking to you. Some of us work a lot to look in the yard for a weed that will grow over night. My major complaint will be HOA need to work with the people more instead of trying to be police officers and enforce weed control. "
