1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have witnessed teachers using vulgar language with the students, even calling them vile things. Teachers also do not have the adequate amount of support to engage students in higher level thinking. The overall learning environment for students is dense with confusion and unequipped teachers.Other Review6mo ago - Central High School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCentral is a great school. The teachers and administrators actually care about what happens to our children. Opportunities that are not offered at other schools in our area are provided at Central. I am pleased with the education that my child has received at Central. She is prepared for college and will be receiving a merit based scholarship.Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 209 32nd Pl E.

"It’s college kids. It takes 10-12 minutes to walk to very central places but it’s college kid area. I love to walk so the walk is nice, but construction is always there and the price of every day things are marked up. I do love 12th Street-it’s slightly calmer and than the Other streets. "

"I have owned a house here for over 20 years. I keep an apartment in it, and rent out the other spaces. Druid City Historic District, beautiful old houses and quiet safe streets. People are friendly but not nosey. Perfect location, 15 min walk to UA football games, 5 min walk to Government Plaza. Amphitheater, River Market, all the downtown restaurants and bars nearby. Queen City has joined UA campus, downtown, and river commerce for the nearly 200 years Tuscaloosa has been here."
