3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are a military family. My child has attended schools in SC, GA, LA, MO and AL. This has been the lowest rated school overall. (+) My child 2nd grade teacher Ms. Goodwin was great. She was a 1st year teacher, enthusiastic and great teacher. (+) Ms. Jan front office sec is great, informative and cheerful. (-) Principal acts like she is concerned about students education but her own children attend the local magnet school. (Intersting) (-) The level is the lowest we have ever attended I feel overall they are 1 to 2 grades behind other states. (-) 1/2 the kids that attend do not live in the surrounding areas they just use others addresses so you get a mix of kids with a mix of behaviors. (-) PTA, what PTA??? (-) They don't receive any fed funding so they ask you for money every other day.Parent Review10y ago - Carr Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is unorganized. It does not inform the parents like they should. The administration is weak. Most (not all) of the teachers, have little to no classroom management. The students are everywhere in this school and parents are the last one to find out anything. I am a parent of a child who attends this school and am looking forward to them leaving after their 7th grade year. The counselor is rude as well and not knowledgeable of her job and does not care about the well being of the student(s). The principal is hardly ever present and when I've been to the school, has always been in a meeting or busy. This has been the worst year for me and my child ever (2021-2022).Parent Review1y ago - Park Crossing High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has been through terrible years where the staff, faculty, etc. have no respect for each other or students. Recently has gotten better but that isn't saying much. The students aren't interested in learning because the current principle shuts the door on any of the students' creativity. The art department, for example, has been put through the wringer. The band has suffered drastically due to a lack of consistent leadership and a great director was put in place, he was fired for a complaint from a student that was mad because she wasn't able to keep up with the progress due to a lack of musical skill/ effort. From having, what was widely regarded as, one of the best bands in the city and the overall state with a wide fanbase and support group, to having almost 10 members and not having any resources for uniforms in a few months and the downward spiral is only getting worse. But that is just one aspect. The sports department on all fronts is also hampered by the new regime put in place by the Principal.Other Review1y ago - Check out schools near 300 Atasi Dr.

"Forest Hills is located in mid Town. It is a large neighborhood near interstates, main hiways and roads. 15 mins to the mall, 6 mins for Gunter AFB, 15 mins to Maxwell AFB and downtown. There is plenty of shopping and grocery stores in walking distance and also a bus stop. As is common in cities now there are occasion shots heard and break-ins. Thugs are everywhere tho and its no worse than anywhere else in Montgomery. It is nice to feel like you in a wooded community and be really in the midst of town. I like the neighborhood!"
