6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI will be ecstatic when this school year ends because I’ve had the worst experience with this school. They constantly bully my 5 year old son because I won’t agree to put him on medication for not “sitting still”. They harass me daily with phone calls about him acting like a 5 year old BOY.When they stopped getting a reaction from me they began bombarding me with emails and texts messages about him hitting other students which is not true because on several occasions my son has told me kids have hit him and when he told an adult(which I’ve instructed him to do) they disregarded him and never once reported this to me.They even went as far as asking my permission to paddle him which will NEVER happen. With that being said I would not recommend this school. They need to be investigated and also that school needs more diversity.Parent Review2y ago - Valley High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you have a child who is in danger of not qualifying for graduation due to their academic level, this is the school to send them to. This school's only objective is to pass kids- not prepare for them for the future, not to actually educate them, not to support them. The advanced teachers actually make an effort, but the regular teachers allow kids to ask questions during exams, cheat off of other students. There is minimal classroom management. My child attended school here for one year and did not bring homework home one time from any of her courses. She was in "advanced" classes. How does that prepare her for real life? We had to move to another city to enroll her in a school that would actually challenge her academically and help her with career pathing. I understand this is a low budget school, but they don't even try.Parent Review7mo ago - W F Burns Middle School

"I have lived in Valley going on 10 years now. It's a decent enough place if your old and retired. Fast food places are ok, and most times I go to one I sometimes get decent service in a sometimes clean restraunt. Night life is non existent, unless you drive 30mi's or more to Auburn/Opelika, or Columbus GA. In Valley if your going somewhere like WalMart(the only shopping there is in the area) and it's late at night ...say like midnight or later, you may sometimes get harrassed buy the police asking you where your going, what your doing, etc. Especially if you drive a sports car or sport bike. Like I said, if your old and retired this place might be alright, or if you don't mind being harrassed by the local PD or driving a ways to get a decent meal, see a movie, or have a drink."
