Description
This property is not currently for sale or for rent on Trulia. The description and property data below may have been provided by a third party, the homeowner or public records.
As Chattanooga, Knoxville, Decatur, and other towns along the Tennessee River are doing or have done, Huntsville, Alabama has started to develop its River front and we have something unique no one else has...A 2.5 mile long x .5 mile wide island. Counting an interior lake, the island can have over 8 miles of riverfront. Locally known as Hobbs Island, this is the first time it has been listed for sale. Hobbs Island is suited for a mixed use development or destination point accessible by a new bridge or ferry. Utilities are along Hobbs Island Road, but will require boring under the river. This is a beautiful property with unlimited potential.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur school mission is to empower our students to LEARN, LEAD, and LOVE through partnerships with families and community. As principal of New Hope Elementary, I see this mission lived out each day. We have incredible parents who partner with our faculty and staff to ensure high levels of learning for all students. We also have amazing community partners like The CARE Center, Enrichment Center, and New Hope Children's Clinic. These groups allow us to meet the needs of "the whole child." We not only want our students to learn at high levels, we also want our students to grow into leaders that desire to make their community and the world a better place. We are a Lighthouse Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. We are also striving to become a PLC Model School.Principal Review1y ago - New Hope High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy Experience was great loved the School and staff . Everyone was nice for the most part . Some students from outta state are stuck up and snarky but overall its a great school. I liked the ATC courses and how everything isnt about testing or just going to college they try to show you other options are Available . My brother Put three years of electrician's courses and now works at Toyota making 130k a year As a project engineer. He was class of 2017 im class of 2023.Other Review2mo ago - Check out schools near Hobbs Island Rd.

"Very nice neighborhood. Neighbors are all very friendly & helpful to one another. Residents walk their dogs & take them to dog parks. Good place to relax & get to know new neighbors. If anyone needs help cutting their grass or doing anything all they have to do is ask. Community is always clean & safe. I would recommend this neighborhood to everyone. When dogs or cats go missing it's on neighborhood watch to help find them. "

"We've lived in HSV Hills for many years and love the friendly neighbors! We've lived in Pill Hill & Piedmont; HSV Hills has the privacy and retreat of those neighborhoods, without the steep hills/long drives to everything. Very safe, well-established, primely located community near Hampton Cove, affords the best of both worlds: peaceful hillside privacy & proximity to everything. Near premier schools, The Arsenal, library/community center, churches, greenways, golf, shopping & restaurants galore. "
