And when my son was there the old principal was horrible she always went around things to get to the answer and never answer it she always made excuses for teachers. And now the new principle we have now is about the same as she is he makes excuses for the teachers but he's never around he's always on tiktok or somewhere where you don't post to be but you know Huntsville City Schools don't got enough people to take his place so they're going to let him do whatever. And these teachers some of them are good then we got the new ones that come in and try to teach their own way and I don't know they know how to teach colored students but Williams I guess no teachers want to work at William so they just get what they can get and it's sad Williams really need help hasn't been open long and is one of the worst schools in Huntsville so I will tell you if you are a very strong will it hurt parent and speak your mind don't go to Williams cuz that principal cannot or will not understand you. And now my daughter is in there if you are zones Williams run don't go there it's not worth it AGT is not even worth it either kids bully kids they can't handle kids they always try to make excuses and then they blame it on the parents and not all the parents and sometimes the teachers but when you can admit to something will you do it for.Parent Review1y ago - Williams Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHi, I’m a current 8th grader at this school and a member of the AGT program. AGT is moderately decent and the students and teachers are good however I take one regular Williams class and I have to say that the students are horrendous. Cussing out teachers, throwing stuff, fights, etc. The behavior is horrendous and that’s only part of it. Many of the students are not here to learn and are here simply to be disruptive and rude. Teachers do barely anything to fix this behavior and simply don’t care. It’s a pain to go to school because I know that I will be yelled at, shoved, and made fun of for simply existing. The transitions between classes are the worst. Overcrowding causes so many fights, arguments, and tardiness. If you are tardy to class you will get written up/suspended when most of the time other people are prohibiting you from getting to class on time. Next, let’s discuss the bathrooms, they are always disgusting, not functioning, and plain horrendous. There is feces on the ground and urine on the toilet seats. No one ever cleans up the bathrooms so it goes like this for weeks. The cafeteria is also deplorable. The food is cold and gross, and the tables are also nasty. "Beautiful lake views with wonderful wildlife (Fox, geese, an eagle). Quiet with wonderful views. Nice area to walk and a great club house that’s very child friendly. Close to Redstone Arsenal and the new Towne Madison project. "

"Nice place to raise a family, or to have your family come visit you. Useable, but manageable flat yards. Newer homes. Active HOA to keep your property values up. Proximity to Shopping, Restaurants, Fishing, Swimming, Golf, Health Care, etc. make this almost like living in a resort, except for the pesky tourists. "

"The Reserve is a great safe neighborhood, comprised of several subdivisions, that is covenant protected and offers a wonderful pool, tennis courts, children's playground, and clubhouse with exercise facility. There is a federally protected wetland running through the center of the neighborhood with a small lake for resident use. Common areas are well landscaped and maintained. This is a large neighborhood of more than four hundred single family homes, so HOA costs are low. This area is located between Decatur, Madison, and Huntsville with excellent roads and it takes less than fifteen minutes to drive to major shopping that includes everything from groceries to high end fashion. Major work centers are also within an easy fifteen minute drive and it is a five minute drive to Redstone Arsenal. Public schools are good and private schools are available. This is a great area for anyone, whether a family or a retiree. This neighborhood is a good value when compared with similar high quality neighborhoods in Madison and Huntsville. Most homes are customized from stock plans and sizes run from 1800 sq. ft. up to 6000 sq. ft., so there is a home to suit every lifestyle. This is a safe and quiet neighborhood of luxury homes with an active HOA to help enforce covenants and protect home values. The Reserve is a great diverse community that welcomes everyone! "

"While Zierdt is fairly busy, the back streets in the Reserve section are great for walking and bike rides. When the Zierdt road expansion is in place and the greenway adjacent to it is completed, it will be an even better place for recreation. The lakes/ponds in the area add to the area."

"This is a great area to live in. We have the arsenal gate less than 5 minutes away, access to 565 and i-65 in less than 15 minutes. Less than 2 hours to Birmingham and Nashville. If you enjoy the outdoors, this is the area for you. "
