Description
This property is not currently for sale or for rent on Trulia. The description and property data below may have been provided by a third party, the homeowner or public records.
This is a "turn-key" waterfront home which (at the time of this report in 2015) has never been flooded. There's also a detached double garage with a Studio Guest House at the river end. The views from both the main house and studio are out of this world. This home has a brand new "Galley Style" kitchen with tile, granite counters, all new cabinetry, and new appliances. The master bath has also had a new upgrade. The outside Siding is hardy-plank with a top notch Sherwin Williams (SW) paint job. When you're inside, you have no clue as to the age of this house. All the work has been done.
Since the purchase in 2015, all windows and doors have been protected with approved Hurricane Storm Shutters. All walls; trim; ceilings; and cabinets have a new SW paint job. All ceiling Popcorn has been removed. In late 2015, a new, top of the line, Carrier Infinity A/C - Heat Pump with all new ducting was installed in the main house along with a new Mitsubishi A/C in the studio. The current well has been upgraded with a new, more powerful pump for the new sprinkler system which covers the lawn, shrubs, and garden. The entry walkway between the main house and the studio was redesigned with pavers which includes a wonderful porch sitting area overlooking the river in front of the studio. The Studio also has: its own driveway; side porch; and side yard protected by a new 8' wooden privacy fence. Use the studio for guests or maybe even rent it out for extra income. You're so close to the river you can hear the mullet jump and watch the dolphins when they periodically swim by. You can fish and kayak til your heart's content. The boathouse that has a fish cleaning station and 2 separate slips with 2 boat lifts: one lift for a small jet ski and one for a medium size (25' to 28') boat. There's also a low water pier (deck area) which can be used to launch kayaks or small boats

"l drive everywhere. No public transportation that I am aware of. I take back roads to avoid the traffic on the main highway during the summer. Everything is a quick drive away. This town offers everything that you could possibly need."

"Lived here my whole life and I love it it's close to a lot of different attractions, and still maintains country in certain parts. Crime rate is not outrageous Beaches close by Pensacola, New Orleans, mobile, Biloxi, , go shores, and Panama City Beach are within 100 miles maybe or so. I accept this community to raise my family in "

"Nothing. The area is relatively expensive because it is close to the beach. I don’t feel Foley has anything special to offer and the area is lacking in nature trails and parks. Not nearly enough. "

"Filthy dirty air. Worst in the nation. Just a dirt unhealthy place with temps average 100+ daily (feel like temps) guess that's why there is no adventure or activities in this place. Avoid Foley, Al. at all cost."
