The faculty and staff at Underwood are committed to providing a positive environment for growth and learning. The campus is small and allows students to have a more personal connection with teachers. The administration encourages student engagement and works hard to make learning fun and interactive. Underwood provides a private school experience in a public-school setting.

Major lack or diversity, few teachers communicate with parents when needed, lack of arts program, lack of foreign languages, only a few sports teams that don’t experience terrible season after terrible season... When you go up to the school you’ll notice the parents’ and students’ lack of motivation, dressed like they just crawled out of bed. Students are left to fend for themselves against bullies, and unless you’re an athlete or top academic student, don’t expect to feel a part of the school. Standardized test scores are mostly below state average (which is already bad) and there is a sad percentage of students who pursue college after graduation. Don’t recommend.
