8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageYou need to look no further than the review posted by an 8th grade student in February 2007 to know how poor of an education students at NSM receive. It's loaded with incorrectly spelled words, poor grammar, poor punctuation and incorrect capitalizations. When speaking to teachers and staff, it's very typical to hear them say "have went" and "I seen." I've received notes home from the teachers with "there" used instead of "their" and other glaring grammatical and spelling errors. It was interesting that when I brought it to Mr. Davis' (the principal) attention, he didn't see anything wrong with what was written by his staff. Of course, he also graduated from NSM. Many of the same teachers who taught him are still teaching there. NSM is a fine example of why Alabama is always ranked at the bottom of the US states for education.Parent Review10y ago - Check out schools near 1323 County Road 290.
