9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to Vestavia Hills in 1997 to qualify our children for the excellent school system. We love Vestavia so much that we still call it home in 2023 Our children graduated with honors from Auburn University many years ago and have located out of Alabama in areas with greater opportunity. My children received the best education possible in Vestavia schools. They were well prepared for college and beyond.Parent Review4mo ago - Liberty Pk Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a wonderful school. Definitely a 10! As good as it gets. We moved here 6 years ago and have been at this school from Kindergarten thru 5th grade. Looking forward to attending the middle school. We also have a lot of parent involvement which makes a difference.Parent Review6y ago - Liberty Pk Middle School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe little pockets of snobbery and brat factor is something to consider when moving to Liberty Park. It's mostly white, entitled kids with their parents catering to most every whim. The school reflects this and the academics leaves much to be desired. Not impressed and regret sending my child to this school. We're moving so that our son doesn't have to endure the brats there.Parent Review7y ago - Check out schools near 609 Lake Colony Poin.

"The first time I drove to this neighborhood, I was a little worried until I was actually in the neighborhood. The outskirts don’t seem the best, but this area is so cute. All of our neighbors are friendly and everyone keeps their houses/landscaping up to par. A lot of families live here, and everyone seems to have a dog (which I adore). It’s fairly calm. I always feel safe. We’re so close to downtown; Restaurants, stores and shops are endless and easily accessible. My biggest and only complaint would be the roads. They need some major TLC, but if you’ve ever lived in Birmingham, you’d probably already expect that. Commuting to work in Vestavia normally takes between 16-22 minutes. Not terrible at all. Overall, can’t recommend this area enough!!"
