Excellent! It’s by far the best high school in the burough in all aspects!

I am in my mid-twenties and enrolled my daughter in Pre-K here. We were borderline low-income, so it was a state funded Pre-K program. Apparently this factor, plus my age, warranted Mrs. Russell to talk down and belittle me (and my husband). Day 1: Received no information about morning routine/drop-off protocol, was told by the front desk to walk my daughter to the classroom. When we got to the classroom, Mrs. Russell was clearly irritated with our 5-minute-early arrival, but said nothing about what we should do differently. Day 2: My husband drops our daughter off. He meets the assistant teacher, who informs him that there is a drop off time and families usually wait in the lobby until the bell rings. Day 3: My daughter has to use the restroom before class. I ask the front desk where it is, they tell me it's just across the hall from her Pre-K classroom. I walk her there. We walk out of the restroom ONE minute before the bell rings, I don't even try to walk her into the classroom, but Mrs. Russell sees me, rushes out of the classroom, and chastises me in front of my daughter. She fusses at me that "My assistant told your husband yesterday that we don't accept kids before the bell. Don't do it again, we've already told you." etc. Again, all in front of my daughter. I withdrew her. There was no excuse for that behavior from a PRE-K teacher. Additionally, the few papers she sent home were requests (read: demands) for donated materials, which included a ridiculously expensive doTerra cleaning product. I never leave bad reviews, but this was a terrible experience.
