2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children who currently attend Houston Middle School. I am pleased with the individual attention that they receive at this school. One of my children is at the higher end of academic performance and is constantly challenged by teachers to reach higher goals. My other student requires extra academic attention and teachers are proactive to ensure that this attention is given. In addition, teachers respond in a very timely fashion when I e-mail about questions or concerns that I have. "We have lived in this area for 13 years. I could not think of a better place to raise children. The neighborhood is quiet and the bus stop can be seen from the front door. Neighbors take pride in thier properties. And wildlife have been known to roam through from time to time. We are still within the city limits but the feeling one gets is a laid back life style. Over all terrific place to be."
