6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school the first years that it opened and now my children have and are still going through this school. I had no problems with the school, and the teachers my daughter had, were very enthusiastic and good at working and challenging her where she was above efficiency and needed "more". She is now entering high school with a " high honor" status and earned 2 of her high school credits/classes during her 8th grade year. Sure, there were a couple teachers I would avoid having my kids with, but that is typical in any school. Overall, Snowshoe is great. I've noticed since the new "Machentanz School" was completed, people/teachers seemed to have started bad-mouthing Snowshoe and its competency. That seems to be a trend in the valley. New School = bad mouth the older/established schools! Unfortunate. Still love the valley!!!Parent Review12y ago - Wasilla Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a Burchell High School graduate. I was very reserved when I was in high school, which led to me being severely bullied at Colony High School. At Burchell I found a supportive environment, caring staff, and the freedom to study my areas of interest independently. The staff involved themselves with my education to a point that was truly impressive. They care a great deal and it shows. Burchell has a reputation for being a slacker school, but it is just the opposite: staff here expect all students to exert themselves. While attending Burchell I was able to hold a part-time job and also take college classes thanks to their flexible scheduling policies, and thanks to this school I was accepted to a prestigious foreign exchange program just after I graduated. Burchell High School pretty much changed my life. Highly recommended.Student Review13y ago - Check out schools near 1235 W Clydesdale Dr.

"The school systems are biased just like they are everywhere else and it’s better to homeschool especially since there’s a lot of flexibility with homeschooling your kids "

"Living in Bergen Street you have to be use to sirens, All kinds all times, also you need to mk 90,000 to live in Bergen Street an w. Bigalow, I live down the street, the area is not bad an parking is getting really scarce🥲"

"if you like run down trailers high grass lots of wild roaming dogs then this place is for you!some of it is well kept but this trailer is on junk yard lane and condemned house rd. so much trash and terrible roads price to rent way too high for the condition of neighborhood "

" We know everyone on our street. It’s well kept, quiet and people are friendly. There’s hardly any crime or theft here"

"Private but close Great views Not easy with little kids but the trade off is the feeling of more privacy and views. All of sb is a privilege to live in. The mountain side gets more sunshine especially in the winter and mornings. It's close to trails but only 7-10 min drive from the beach. Almost everywhere in Santa Barbara is under 15 min anyway. It's a magical bubble of a place to live. "

"The excessive homelessness makes this neighborhood unique. Along with the apparent disregard for the abandoned buildings and liters of trash everywhere. "
- Jeff Theobald

"Homeless treated better than folks paying all the taxes. City officials don’t care and waste money. Taxes to high, and pushing out businesses. So much waste of taxpayer dollars!"

"I don’t know of any community events. Besides maybe the pumpkin patch they had last Halloween. The neighbors are friendly, but everything is so isolated that it’s hard to grow a community outside of a few nice neighbors "

"Near Old town plenty of events that go on around spring training, Waste Management Open, people coming into casinos nearby for march madness then check out the tourism attractions and off the beaten path boutiques, restaurants, cafes and bars around the area.
