One of my children is at the higher end of academic performance and is constantly challenged by teachers to reach higher goals. My other student requires extra academic attention and teachers are proactive to ensure that this attention is given. In addition, teachers respond in a very timely fashion when I e-mail about questions or concerns that I have. This school does a lot of family oriented game nights and fund raisers for students. The community is always very supportive of the activities the children attend. Willow Elementary Staff and PTA do what they can to get families and the community involved in decision making for just about everything. I love the staff and the community and the values shared and fought in this school. VERY PLEASE.Parent Review9y ago

"I've lived here for 16 years. people here have common sense and a "Live and let live" attitude. A real rural setting with everything Alaskans prefer; Hunting, Fishing, ATVs, Horses and Dog Mushing all within reach."
