With the planting yearly of additional perennials, each year finds the garden with more greenery and more blossoms than the year before, and hence more privacy from the road. The lake side entry is considered the main entry, which flows into an open living concept. From the living room, six large windows face the lake and along with the glass French doors in the master suite, those million dollar views can be enjoyed all through the night from either the living room or master bedroom; full moons, aurora borealis, even News eve celebrations come to life without leaving the warmth of the home. Access to the secluded back deck is made either from the living room or from the master on suite. In floor radiant heat as well as a thermostat controlled gas fireplace heat the home. Nikiski is a place where power does occasionally go out but with a thermostat controlled gas fire place there is no fear that pipes will freeze and create costly damage. Above the fireplace is the television insert/hookup. Television is mounted on apparatus that pulls out and turns to afford the best picture viewing. The open concept living area integrates the kitchen, and while cooking or doing kitchen chores, television viewing is made simple; but really, it's those overwhelming sunsets that are responsible for delayed dinners and slow kitchen cleanup. Stainless kitchen appliances stay with the house: Samsung dishwasher and refrigerator, Jenn-Air downdraft gas range, Hamilton Beach microwave. Master bedroom has tray ceiling, recessed lighting, ceiling fan, and double French doors leading out to the deck. Both master and guest room have 3 "mini" closets. The largest of the three has been wired for television installation. When not utilized for that purpose, this closet as well as the other two, make perfect individual linen closets. Laundry is located in the garage. Samsung front loading washer and dryer are built in an accordion closet. These appliances also stay with the house. Two of the three Dish satellites have been purchased and belong with the house; the large and the medium. The smaller, marked with the Dish logo, has been provided by the Dish Company . This Dish is the satellite for all HD channels and is the only one in use at this time. There are two Dish receivers in the house (one upstairs, one downstairs) and Dish advises they have been purchased. I love my home and I will miss my home.
