7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSTAY AWAY FROM SIGNING UP YOUR KID FOR THE GIRLS VOLLEYBALL TEAM. It was extremely upsetting to see the favoritism from the coaches, especially Rebekah “Bekah” Ames. WE spent much of our time and money to come see our daughter play only to have her benched 90% of the time. Come to find out from my daughter’s teammates was that Bekah has specifically stated to them that she did not care or even liked my daughter, which makes a lot more sense now. Not only is Bekah unprofessional, she was horrible about communicating any concerns that parents would have. It’s a shame that this person was hired to be a coach (and was terrible at it) but instead acts more like a high school student. She is definitely the reason why the girls played so horribly this past season. I hope that she’ll learn to be a better person. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a military family, we never know what to expect from the schools we attend when we get to a new place. Ravenwood is one of the best there is! We have experienced four of the six grades at Ravenwood among our kids and every single teacher we've met has exceeded expectations. We have one child who needs extra help and they have gone above expectations to make sure our child's needs are met. The office staff is both supportive and helpful. What a true blessing it has been for our kids to attend this wonderful school! We highly recommend moving out to Eagle River for Ravenwood to other military families.Parent Review2y ago

"The roads are ROUGH in the winter! People say it’s well maintained, but the road gets VERY narrow, and there is so much snow sometimes the plows won’t get to the side streets until well after 10am. Good luck getting to work! You definitely need 4wd and good winter tires or studs!"

"I live in Eagle River which is just outside anchorage. I love it here! I live on 3acres and I am surrounded by National Forrest. The neighbours are fantastic and we have frequent burger burns or fish fries throughout the summer. "
