6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has implemented great ideals in my child, I had two daughters go through Gladys Wood one who needed Special Education classes and regardless of whether she was doing the on level grade work or not, every teacher made her feel included with the class and allowed her to participate and gain confidence in her abilities. They encouraged my younger daughters entrepreneurial spirit and also talk her valuable lessons in doing the right thing. I am glad to see this school is finally getting some upgrades as well. "Sand Lake is probably the premier area to raise a family if you can’t afford South Side. DeArmoun and south is primarily where the least amount of crimes are reported because they don’t typically happen, but Sand Lake is second best where the crime rate is relatively low and the traffic is minimum."

"Car is necessary or a long bike ride. It takes about 14 minutes to get downtown with now traffic. Coastal trail is 45 minute bike ride to downtown."
