9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe're only two years into going here, but we've had nothing but positive experiences. There's been some staff turnover drama apparently, but the new principal seems to be doing great and I think losing the old principal is a positive move based on what I've heard. All the teachers and support staff we've interacted with have been caring, engaged, and wonderful to deal with. It's hard to quantify if the learning has been as rigorous as a charter school, but our son graduated kindergarten able to read on his own and he comes home with lots of questions about space and math and the world, so I can tell they're continuing to feed his curiosity. They put on excellent events like the Halloween trick-or-treat event, STEAM nights, and various optional opportunities like a running club and chess club. Overall, it's been a wonderful neighborhood school.Parent Review3w ago - South Anchorage High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers and staff at Goldenview are genuinely concerned for the education and advancement of the students! They take the curriculum and make it fun for the students. They foster creativity and encourage students to stretch and enrich their minds. The parental and business involvement is much greater than I have found at other schools. My children and I have found Goldenview to be a great learning community all the way around! Goldenview prepares their students well for high school! I wish these teachers could move with the students to the high school level!Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 13410 Brant Way.
